Tetyana Haraschuk
The “freaky alien” textures, psychedelic vocals, 80’s guitar, synth bass and rule breaking grooves are what define the 25-year-old’s unique alternative jazz rock style. Tetyana crafts a wide variety of sounds that stretch from delicate to frightening while disregarding genre boundaries and conventions. Haraschuk is an equally expressive storyteller, both in music and in life and her debut album was described as “a pivotal addition to modern jazz that is sure to grab your attention and have you pressing re-play”, by Anna Blackmore of the blog “Untitled Unmastered”. Tetyana has performed with the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra and with JUNO award winning musicians in Canada. She has played at the Ottawa and Winnipeg International Jazz Festivals as well as in Spain and Brazil.
Tetyana’s sophomore EP “Someone You’ve Never Been” is set for digital release on September 14, 2023.
